Each mug is wheel-thrown or hand-cast, finished in your choice of glaze, and fired with your artwork permanently embedded in the surface. The result is a custom coffee mug that gets better with every wash, not worse.
Why JJ Potts

Most custom mugs are made in a factory, decorated with a decal, and shipped in bulk. Ours aren't. Every JJ Potts mug is wheel-thrown or hand-cast in our Utah studio, glazed by hand, and fired at over 2,000°F with your logo permanently embedded in the clay — not printed on top of it.
That's the difference you feel when you pick one up. It has weight. It has character. It's the kind of mug people take home when they leave a job, steal from a hotel room, or refuse to put in the dishwasher with everything else.

- Step 01
Reach out with your logo and quantity
Send us your artwork (vector preferred) and how many mugs you need. We'll confirm what's possible and give you a quote.
- Step 02
Approve a sample
For new programs, we produce a sample run before your full order so you can see the glaze and logo placement in person.
- Step 03
Production and delivery
Standard lead time is 6–8 weeks from sample approval. Rush timelines available depending on current capacity.
Minimum order quantities apply. We're a working studio, not a print shop — which is exactly why the mugs are worth it.
